Ten years ago the Duchess of Northumberland decided to create a beautiful public garden for families to enjoy and so the project began.
The Alnwick Garden is now a beautifully landscaped garden with many unique features and architecture, with the main feature being the Grand Cascade, the largest water feature of its kind in the country.
Water isn’t the only outstanding feature there is also the Rose and Ornamental Gardens and the intriguing Poison Garden full of deadly plants.
