Question:

I planted some fairly decent sized honeysuckles and jasmine around 6 weeks ago some were planted in a full sun area others in a spot that gets sun mornings only whilst they look healthy they seem to be showing little sign of waking up whilst I would not expect them to reach for the sky just yet I thought they may have shown sign of beginning to grow now we have had a few warm days I water them around every 3or 4 days in this warmer weather I have given them a feed of chicken manure pellets and tomato food am I been over concerned and should just wait for the weather to warm up more or should I be doing something else thanks for your time

Answer:

As long as they are looking healthy I would think this was normal behaviour for new plants at this time of year. Most plants take a few weeks to find their legs but they should establish well by the end of the summer.
