A Glorious Planting Combination

I have just been browsing the Gardeners World blog and Adam Pasco has a post about a great plantng combination of the evergreen Persian ivy Hedera colchica ‘Sulphur Heart' and deciduous Vitis coignetiae, the crimson glory vine. I first saw Vitis coignetiae when Carol Klein featured it one Friday on Gardeners World and I just had to have it. I have planted it on my bare fence panels and now having seen this combination with the ivy wish I'd thought of that. It's not too late though, looks like another trip to the garden centre for me. Take a look at the full post here.
